The next morning I woke up to bright sunlight and the craziest hangover... oh man.. .I haven't felt that bad in a really really long time. I threw up a few times after forcing myself to stand up. woah. that was nuts. I couldn't believe it, my head hurt so bad. oops, oh well, last night was fun and worth it... Then I checked the time on the remote control for the A/C in my room (I didn't bring a watch) and it said: 11:20. AH CRAP! I couldn't believe it! they didn't wake me up! arg.... I was really really upset. I know I didn't sleep through it because those types of calls are loud and I would have remembered something, the hotel screwed up. So I was very upset but told myself "hey it's ok, you're really really not doing too good this morning so maybe it's a good thing". So I accepted it and was just grumpy while I was packing my stuff up to check out. I was moving very slowly, just putting one foot in front of the other was a difficult task... then while I was taking a shower the alarm goes off, oh man... idiots, 3hrs late.

I went downstairs and handed over my key at the front desk, then I checked the clock on the wall and it said: 10:35! WHA? I asked to reconfirm and the lady said "yes, it's 10:35" I was stunned! I couldn't believe it! Well then... maybe I still have a chance to go do some snooba diving... but do I feel like it? As I'm walking towards the front door, this guy with a clipboard walks up to me and says "are you Frederic?" I said "yup" and he told me "let's go!" hahaha, I got in the van with these two other japanese girls and then we were off to do some diving! hahahaha... I was laughing the whole way there because I was soooooooooooo hung over... and I was gonna go deep under water... oh man here we go... hahahhaaha... sweet

As you can see from the picture on the left I made it ok. It was soooooooo beautiful that I totally forgot that I was hung over! WOW was it every so beautiful! It blew away my snorkeling experience the day before. So many fish

Ok so here is the deal with snooba diving, it's not technically scooba because there is a hose running from my mask and then up to the tank floating in a little rubber raft. I was under for about maybe an hour or something.maybe less, I dunno, time was kinda out of place. I highly recommend everyone to try this!

After diving my headache came back and I realized I couldn't stay in the sun much longer because I was getting really really red (living in japan, you don't get the chance to really get exposed to the sun. sure the sun is there and it gets really hot but there's too much city to think about just laying around in the sun). So I asked the driver of the van to take me to a mall so I can chill out in a movie theater. Gave me a good excuse to watch a movie I would have had a hard time watching in Japan (Matrix: Reloaded). I also had Taco Bell for the first time in two years which made my taste buds feel good but not my stomach. :P haha

. .

After the movie I took the "shopping bus" decided to take a trip to K-Mart. woah it's so huge!!! It's like those huge Walmarts in the states! when I was on one end I couldn't see the wall of the other side. I did some much needed shopping for the essenssials. mainly cool hawaiian shirts and deodorant (yes that's right, I can't find it here in Japan, don't ask me why).

I was suppose to meet my friend new George at the Hard Rock Cafe but I was at KMart too long, oops, sorry bud, waiting for my underwater pics to develop. By the time I got back to downtown/main beach the sun was just setting, so I decided to go to the beach and fill up some more of my memory card on my camera, I didn't want to miss the sunset.

After spending quite some time watching the sun go down. I went into town to do some last minute shopping for Yuka (really starting to miss her at this point) and myself, clothing and basically anything else is alot cheaper in Guam than Japan.

My flight wasn't until the next morning at 6am, so I had to be at the airport at 4am... so paying for a hotel and waking up at 3am wasn't really a good idea. So the game plan for my last night was to hang out at the beach until about 11:30pm and then head out to the airport and crash on a bench or something and see how that goes. But until then I'm gonna stroll the beach!

The beach at night is really something to see! wow! Alot of torches and lights going in the right places. The air is still really warm and not a hint of getting cool. I was passing this guy sitting on a bench type thing, we exchanged hellos and I offered to sit chat for a bit. His name is Joe and he works at the hotel right behind us. Nice guy who loves his job. Then not too long after I hear a guy coming up from the beach yelling "Phred!" and it was George! hahaha.. funny, he was coming with some other guy from the beach and they were meeting their friend Joe. funny. Then Phil the cool Filipino from last night joined us too.

So a few more beers later and some more strolling around the beach we were doing alright. George said he'd drive me to the airport later. We drank more budwiser (I know I know... but it is still the states) and talked more about how life in Guam is. Good vibe indeed. except for the complaints about the hotels sometimes but it's all good. We also met some guys from the military, one guy on the floor mashed due to too much alcohol. hahaha.. funny, his friends were really nice though.

And then finally came time for me to make my way to the airport. Got there by about 12ish and then found a nice bench to lay on after eating a chili dog (egh....). The bench was comfortable and I thought it would be fine to sleep... until I heard the announcements... "PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BAG UNATTENDED, THEY WILL BE REMOVED BY AIRPORT SECURITY" in 5 different languages, very loudly. various versions of the same type of message. ah well, I got a little sleep and by 3:30am I woke up and made my way to do all the security and boarding stuff and things. the flight back was easy. I sat and went to sleep, woke up at Kansai Airport. Then that same day I had to go to work... egh.... hahaha... oh well, good times good times!!
