[Bella, my uncle Irfan's daughter age 4, playing around the local streets]
| Today was the most rewarding day thus far and I stayed home the whole time (and still managed to take 122 pictures just for today). Well actually in the morning I went wandering the streets a little bit. took a lot of snapshots of the people who live in the area and also all the kids playing in and out of everywhere I went. Really fun to see the neighborhood full of life and energy. |

I also took alot of pictures of the natural plant life in the area, really gorgeous greens and crazy tropical ferns and huge palm trees just growing anywhere there's a vacant area. I definitely took advantage and shot multiple photos for my personal stock photo collection. |

[The rewarding part of the day]

Remember how I said today was the more rewarding day? Well here is why, I spent the afternoon hovering around my grandmother as she cooked three different dishes. It was so amazing! I took TONS of pictures showing step by step how she did it. At first I took them just as instructional then the pictures turned out so good that I had to start taking them at a higher resolution so that I can make beautiful prints later on. It also made my grandmother so happy that the only thing I wanted to do today was to hang around her and learn what she is best at. The three dishes she made were Sayur Cary, Oseign Tempai and Baone Tohu. I was sooooooo hungry while she was cooking (I'm still fasting remember?), but when it came time to eat, oh man did I eat! Makan Eeeak! (really good food). I wish Yuka was with me to enjoy these extremely delicious dishes... oishii my love!! |

After the meal I ate delicious fresh mangos and then headed to bed at around 7ish, I didn't take my afternoon nap so I was really tired. Now I'm awake in the middle of the night and everyone is sleeping.. oops, hahaha... oh well. |
